Comic Crazy: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies [GN]

I recently posted my review for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, now I am going to be reviewing Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.....the Graphic Novel. Oh yeah!!! Cool kid status!!! =D

Synopsis:

Review:

This GN was gruesomely delightful. If there had been less zombie gore, I probably would have been really disappointed. I'm not a fan of gore and, to be totally honest, I'm not super into zombies....either way, this GN was totally cool. The action was well placed and the illustrations were masterfully done. Richards knew exactly what he was doing. The story was adapted well from the Jane Austen adaptation (an adaptation of an adaptation....hmm).  Elizabeth Bennet looked wicked as always and Mr. Darcy still managed to hold onto his gentlemanly charm. All in all, this is a book I would pick up again for a quick, action-packed, quirky, gory, zombie-filled read. I give this book a Lone Star rating of ✯✯✯✯.


Quick side note!!!   
       The ninjas were much cooler here than the original adaptation.
